For one thing, I'm not as sentimental as I used to be. I guess I grew out of it. After Sean...well, I started to thing more clearly about what *love* really was and that to truly love someone doesn't necessarily mean you are "madly" in love with that person. Sure, you have the special memories tucked in your brain somewhere, but you gradually change as time goes by. I'm not the same person who loved Sean the only way a 17 year old girl...I'm 20 now and have grown up from then.

Hope you understand. It's a progressive understanding of life. I know a lot more than I did then.

I know what you mean. I'm bitter though after my ex broke up with me and treats me like shit, but thanks to him being a year younger I never have to see him again if I don't wanna. And I'ma stronger person too.

And I'm happy now with my current boyfriend. Even if he lives far away, at least he treats me good. *love music comes on*

But yea, love is a powerful thing.

I like that. It's true.

I agree that it's a very powerful thing and you're right, you really don't forget all of those memories, it's just - to me - sometimes those memories get stained by all the bloodshed that love brings along with it.
