Bathe her when you feel she needs it!
When you bath her more, she'll get used to it.
Dont be scared!! she wont break, heh

lol
That's true. She's been through some pretty traumatic shit (a couple hours in the birth canal couldn't've been very comfortable), I guess she can handle a couple baths. :o)

hahah yeah, and she'll get used to it. Water probably still freaks her out. She doesn't know wth is going on lol.

How are you feeling?

Wow, sounds like things are really getting good in parenthood!! Hey that rhymes!! I am good!!

Went to the doctor yesterday, she thinks that I have gall stones, how great is that?? She said that I am too far along for the surgery because my uterus is all the way up now so I need to wait until I give birth and then I get to be knocked back out and go into the OR. Sound like fun to you?? So my little over night stay is going to turn into many nights I suppose. But she said that everything else looks good so far, but they never got the results back from the High Risk People, they never sent them... =( So she is going to get those and call me with the results.

Did you have to have your hemoglobin checked every time that you went in every month??? That test sucks major ass, my finger still hurts!! I did it alone yesterday and I really think I did good!!

I hope all is well with you!

Gall bladder surgery has come a long way, at least now it's laproscopic and you don't feel quite as bad afterwards, but you look like you got buttonholes in wierd places.

Yeah I just dont think that its going to be very nice to give birth and then run off and have surgery too, long few days I guess. But I really didnt know much about it and still dont, my doctor is hoping that everythings going to get better on its own and not worse, that it may be acting up just because Im pregnant. Who knows, Ive never had problems with it before so we were unaware but it may go away, she is not 100% that its stones but thats what shes thinking so maybe not!! I will cross my fingers though!!
Buttonholes?? Oh joy!

Heh... considering my track record for surgical recovery, it was difficult for me, becasue I puked bile and blood for WEEKS (but I'm an anemic wuss). I have 4 scars from it (the usual is 3, but at the time I was having uterine problems, so they decided while they were in there, they'll look at my womanly repro-parts). I had an anitomical abnormality in my gallbladder that prevented it from functioning properly.

Have you looked into a diet that helps with the gallstone possibility? It's a tree-hugging hippie thing, but many people say it works, and safe for pregnancy.

Maybe all will turn out for the better after the birth... pregnancy has a funny way of triggering things that many women never had problems with. Good luck with it.

It's okay to use the warm cloth, just be sure you use a different part of the cloth with each wipe.

Have you ever gotten those blis pads?

No I haven't. Haven't even heard of them. Heh.

they're made of silicone, they're thin, easy to care for, and provides just enough pressure to keep leakage from going on without messing with your supply, and they don't make those annoying as hell rings on your shirt if you wear anything slightly smaller than a circus tent... Just wondering if you tried them... obviously no >)

With Kayla, I would use one of those dish tubs (ya know the small ones, that are just big enough for a baby to fit in) and I'd put about 3 inches of warm water in it with some baby soap, and I'd set Kayla down in it to bathe her. She would also scream...then I later found out that I might not have had the water warm enough for her....babies can be picky....

if ya want, they do sell these baby cleansing cloths that already have a little bit of baby soap on them...just lay out a towel on your bed and lay Crystal on it and wipe her up.... (I used those too and loved them!!!) lol
