I like this episode, too,as a Community episode, it was very funny, had pretty great one-liners and little details (like Neil and Vicki, lol, or other students complaining that every lesson turns out about the study group and how good it was when they went on a rafting trip) Duncan was soo freaking hilarious and I loved Troy/Abed story line and this was the first episode in a while where I actually liked Chang, omg, he was awesome, and thank god the baby is not his,lol

sorry for the delay, a lot to defend here lolprettybuttMay 4 2011, 01:23:14 UTC
I like Britta, it took me a long time, but I like her-I do. I also think the majority of this season focused on Annie--Dan Harmon is not as great as he was in season 1 about BALANCE--it's like he barely has an episode where I don't think, oh I missed such and such character. I think Britta needed some focus, and as an Annie Fan I am okay with it--especially since we know so much focus will be on Annie in the two part finale. IN RL Alison was doing a bunch of promo stuff for scream anyways so she needed time off-just a theory as to the lack of annie for the last few eps. YEAH they did forget a bit about Shirley to focus on Britta being Britta like, but again-sorry bb but I like her and liked it

I don't think this season has been that focused on Annie, we just got to know Annie better than last season because last year Britta took the most of screentime, if anything I think this season had more Pierce/Chang/Dean/Troy&Abed and group action and gimmicky episodes which seemed like there were less time for simpler episodes about characters, and the girls especially suffered, this show needs more girl time, the boys are hogging all the screentime.
I think Britta needed some focus I think she got plenty, even since Xmas she had like 4 or 5 episode where she was in the main story and got equal attention in group episodes, she was hardly present only in Asian Population Studies and Intro to Politics, all other episodes had plenty or enough Britta in them. It felt like more focus on Britta than Annie this part of the season.
i didn't see the loving look he gave Britta as a bad thing. It's just he NEVER looked at Britta this way (I would have noticed, this is why it was so jarring to me), it was too much affection and Joel's face

Yeah, I thought those were corny too. And I will never not love Dean Pelton. I can always get behind MORE DEAN PELTON! Until I saw your tumblr, I missed the thing about Annie's mom, so I rewatched, and awwww. Abed-Annie, when I saw the preview involving beans, for a moment there, I thought, ooh...could they go there?
Annie deserves a PRINCE or a beast that turns into a prince, and I am an Annie fan first-so she will get it by the end whether it be Jeff (OMG PLS BE JEFF), or fat Neil.
