I am making oven 'fries'. MMMMMMMM. I fry-cut two russet potatoes, and doused them in olive oil and some vinegar (on recommendation by one of my saturday night stockers at s-way). I also put some dill and pepper and salt. They're in the oven now, I hope they turn out how they taste in my head ( Read more... )

They are delicious. I use freshly ground pepper (from my mortar and pestle) and they might be too peppery for company, but I like spiciness and they're just fine for me.

i spent a lot of money i didn't have on the stuff for that lunch date, and i just had to throw out a bunch of it. i'd do tea, though.
