something about you that's rather interesting: I dream things and think they are real and tell people they actually happened.
tell us about your friends: My friends are rather interesting people. I'm never quick to judge and I'm not friends with two people who are alike. I love a lot of variety in my friends and see something great about each and every one of them. Most of them are upbeat people and happy to be alive. It's good to be around these types of people when you don't feel the same way about yourself.
how do you feel about these topics... and why?
religion: To start, I believe that there is a superior being out there, but I don't think that religions are really well built. They all have their faults and something that they celebrate or do that doesn't make any sense. Religions say things that fault other beliefs, like baptists christians, to get to heaven you have to believe Jesus died for you on the cross, but Jewish people believe God did not visit earth and they don't believe in Jesus. So they are pretty much saying that Jewish people are going to hell. I think that you should believe in something, just not something someone else came up with.
teen pregnancy: This is something that I really don't have much to say about. Teens who get pregnant have had their chance but decided to take this path. Sex is a decision that you have to really think about. If you make the wrong decision then a baby can come out of it. A teen might want this but I wouldn't really understand why. You have a whole life ahead of you and taking care of a child is a huge responsibility, but if you want a child be my guest. Just make sure you know exactly what you're getting yourself into.
abortion:I strongly disbelieve in abortion. However, I'd only make one acception, this is for women who have gotten raped. It was not their decision to get pregnant, or to even have intercourse, it was forced upon them and this child will just be a reminder of a nightmare that came true. But, women who have had sex willingly knew the results and took this action, should not be able to recieve an abortion. They knew what they were doing and this baby is the result of their action. They have to take responsibility for this child and if you won't take care of it or dont have the money, don't kill it. Give it a life, give it to a family that can't have a child and is dying to have one.
drug use and abuse:I pity people who overuse drugs or even take them. It was their decision to take the drug in the first place, but it was most likely friends, or even a family members force that told them to try it. I know about the behavior of these types of people because sadly my brother is one of them. I don't understand him really and he secludes himself from the family in shame of what he has done. He knows what he does is wrong but he cannot admit it and tell my parents. I just wish everyone who did drugs regretted it like him and had the courage to go for rehab.
gay marriage:I say YES HELP YOURSELF. I really don't see why gay people should be declined the rights of marriage when they are in love and have the same feelings as straight people. I support all gay people, and really hope that they can have what they desire and live the way straight people do without being mocked and made fun of.
suicide:Suicide is a scary thing. I've thought about it so many times and have even written goodbye letters. I've never had the courage to actually go through with it. I thought about my family and my friends and how much they would miss me. How much they love me and need me here. I just wish everyone would think about the people around them and how much they need their love. That there are people around them who really need them and wouldn't be able to live without them around. There is something good in everyone's life you just have to find it.
quitting school:I've thought about it for about two minutes..but I decided I want a good life for myself. To make a lot of money, make an easy life for my family. Quitting school wouldn't really be a brilliant idea unless you had a family to take care of, like my dad, he dropped out of school to take care of his little brothers. It is your decision to do whatever you want and if you want to drop out of school and you know that you can find a job where you don't need a diploma, good for you.
eating disorders:It's just something you do to look pretty for the people around you. When people make fun of you it shoots you down and you just want everyone to like you. So you develop these mental, and physical problems, so that everyone will look at you like you're normal. But what you don't realize is that people will always point out your faults, even if you're gorgeous. People can be harsh and turn you away like you're a piece of trash, but you have your friends, the people who love you for who you really are. Not for what you look like.
self-harm:I used to do it, and still do it here and there but never that bad. It's just a way to relieve emotional pain. It's a bad idea, and it's really hard to quit. If you're thinking about doing it. Just, don't. You won't forgive yourself. But for those of you who are like me and can't completely stop, I wish you the best of luck.
