My braces are off!

The dentist's office gave me balloons and a goody bag of food I can eat now. Skittles bubble gum, AIRHEADS, the works. And they sang to me. They SANG to me!

Julia and Mayette are taking me out to B.J.'s tonight to celebrate.

I love good friends and good days :)

Congratulations on the braces being off! I had mine on for a good 2.5 years. I hate the orthodontist and dentist though. I'm very anti-teeth.

I went forever without dental coverage when I really could've used it, so now that I can finally go, I love them. Even if it hurts :(

Congratulations!!!! How long did you have them on for?

I'm so jealous. The only thing my orthodontist gave me when I got my braces off was a surly look and a clipped remark about how obviously I didn't wear my headgear because my teeth were soooo close to being perfectly straight. *eyeroll*

A year and 8 months! I'm surprised cause they first said it would be 2 years, and everyone told me based on their experiences that it would probably take longer than that. My teeth shaped up quick!

What. I'd be so mad if my orthodontist told me how straight my teeth almost were. Did you punch them in the face? Just curious.

Congratulations!! I got my braces off last year. I got a bag of candy too, but no one sang to me! What do they song do they sing for such a occasion, anyway? :)
