It's funny that several friends have already done this today; I'd written an entry to the same effect earlier, but my computer crashed & I lost it. So now I just look like a copycat. But...okay.

I debated about commenting or not since I usually don't whenever someone says "comment or be deleted" on their LJ. I always think these type of posts force people's hands. It shouldn't matter who you delete or not, I know I delete people at times when I just don't feel like reading them anymore and/or when they stop posting. I rarely respond to these with pleas of getting whomever to keep me, because it doesn't matter if I'm deleted from someone's list or not, I'll still write the way I do. Most people on my list are people I want to keep in touch with via LJ. If someone doesn't want to read my LJ anymore, that's cool with me. I don't want to force people to read me or to comment since my LJ is for me. :)

So though this is a comment, don't feel bad if you need to de-list me. I understand the utility of keeping a Flist manageable.

I know what you mean - even after seeing a binch crop up on my friends page today, I still didn't really want to do it. But it's aimed at about 20-25 people in particular...and yes, naturally there'd be people I wouldn't have cut (like you). On the other hand, sometimes if someone doesn't comment, it can be their non-confrontational way of saying "Please dop me so I can drop you!" So...yes. Complicated, indeed. But I've already gotten a few answers I hadn't expected, so that does help!

And thank you for commenting, 'cos I'd have been sad if we were suddenly DE-FRIENDS. ;)

You don't have to reply; I just thought it was something you ought to read. Because I didn't feel like I was holding up my part of the deal by...holding out. You know what I mean?

I'll endeavour to stop being such a Boring Morning Ehch - you'll be pleased to know I have revamped my NaNoWriMo novel, and have decided it will be added to a select filter of hott_otp. So even when I don't have ACTUAL sex to talk about, I'll have fictional sex to write about. So...stay tuned. I hope your morning grapefruit juice will regain its "interesting reading" counterpart SOON.
