going to montréal Ratha Yatra!

i'm going to montréal Ratha Yatra this weekend. i have been looking forward to it for a long time, but as of today i'm not. i think for two reasons: 1. i haven't done much to prepare. 2. i feel like i'm getting sick. wtf.

i have to pack my stuff, wash my car, and vacuum the inside. this would be easy to do if i didn't have plans for tonight.

That's cool that you're going to Montreal. I was there several years ago and I remember being so excited because I could finally put all those years of studying French to use.
I saw the movie "Brick Lane" on the plane when I was going to India last November. Actually, it was on my transfer flight from London to Kolkata. I guess the movie was already released in England that long ago. I wonder why it always takes the U.S. so long to do things LOL. Anyway, it was a decent movie. Not as good as "The Namesake", but o.k. nonetheless. I had read the book beforehand so I knew what to expect storywise, but I think I liked the book better. Anyway, I hope you have a nice evening out and again I'm sorry we couldn't see eachother this week, as my Boston plans fell apart : (

i only found out about brick lane a week or so ago. i'm sure i'll read the book now that i know it exists too. i'm looking forward to the movie, if not for anything else because of the guy with the british accent i saw in the trailer!

and you're right, the us takes FOREVER for everything. and my city takes even longer than your city! i'm sad we didn't get to see each other as well. i thought of you when i saw vidya and divya. holy crap, they have grown! and vidya wears make up now!

Make up? Geez! Isn't she like only 11? Actually I'm not really sure how old she is...that's shameful huh? I'm going to see them next weekend. They're coming to NY for a family wedding. Have fun in Montreal : )

she just turned 12.. i only know because it was divya's birthday around the time i saw her, maybe the day before or after and they told me. so then i remember 3/4 of that family are cancers. so don't feel bad!

but yeah, i had to sneak and try and wear make up at that age! vidya (number 2 because they call me vidya number 1)told me they are going to a wedding. i hope you all have fun too.. and thanks!

I just heard of that movie the other day. It is still playing here, so tell me if its good!! I want to go see it next weekend.
