my cousin, rahsaan ran the boston marathon today and he finished in 3 hours, 41 minutes, and 49 seconds.

congratulations to him.. he is awesome.

when i get to work and take it out of my bag to put it away until lunch time, it takes a lot of self restraint to not devour it right away!

just wanted to say on here, so i will remember later.. last night, but more likely this morning i dreamt about His Holiness Bhakti Marga Swami.

He is amazing.

you know.. you always hear that when you do service that you feel like doing more service. or that when you chant japa, you feel like chanting more japa.

or at least i always hear those types of things.

but you know, when you experience it.. it's the truth. 

today is the first day this week that i did not bring a lunch to work. i'm very proud of that. i bought lunch today, which was not very satisfying.. and the dude that took my order told me that i have nice hair. i blushed. i can't remember the last time i got a compliment from a guy. made my day.
