I got to pick up my new glasses yesterday:
I don't think the picture really does them justice in how cute they are, but that's probably me just being weird about how I look in photos. :-P Either way, I am pleased with them so far and have had many compliments on how well they suit me.
Anyway, today I had to go up to the Target distribution center in Indy for some team leader training I never really got when I was hired. Some of my coworkers and I carpooled (I drove so I could get the sweet mileage money... always more than what you spend on the actual gas to get there and back), but it was a long day nevertheless. We left Bloomington around 6:45 in the morning and didn't get back until 5:30 in the afternoon. I don't want to say that I enjoy being on my feet all day at work, but let's just say it's a lot harder to sit still in a car or in training for 10 straight hours if you're not used to it. Still, I probably shouldn't complain about having such an easy day, not to mention I now have 3 hours of overtime I get to cut on Saturday morning, so that will make being there when I should have been off a lot less painful. And I'm definitely glad to be closing tomorrow night since it means I get to sleep in, one of the few perks of working retail hours. :)
Anyway, I'm off to go have some ice cream and settle in with a book or something. What's everyone up to the next few days?
