not really, NiMH are just like regular batteries but last about 5 times longer, and can be charged more than a 1000x .. You can buy a set of them and it's charger for about 25 bucks at radio shack, or else wear.. and if have the charger already, the 4 pack cost about 4-5 bucks..

hehe, dancing is great =) though I don't dance often enough, but I do have my moments.. ;)
