I fixed my post, I forgot to mention that teenagers have to go into the child/family room. I can see why, because so many teenagers come into the place and hang out, and they are not paying members like adults... but she was so mean!

Man, what a dumb woman. You have to be like, sixteen, I assume? You might look young but you don't look fifteen, she's clearly out of touch. You shoulda flipped her the bird.

I am getting mad remembering it! I really like my Y, and she might even be a volunteer, so I am not going to comaplian or anything, but you are right about the tone of voice. It was really condesending.

wow. that's really rude. I've had some pretty mean stuff to me said about my apperance, especially in regards to looking young (I'm still pissed of at the guy who laughed at me last year AT THE PRINCE, asking if I was even old enough to do such-and-such thing, when I was the one running the entire stupid program)... but that is really crossing the line.

Holy crap, that's rude.

I'd have complained to the gym staff if that happened to me. That's just as inappropriate as if some dude in the men's locker room complimented me on my weiner or something like that.
