About once a month I check up on the sitaution in Juarez. Today I saw an article about a woman who was set on fire, (that is now missing, of course) but I also saw an artcle about how Hollywood is "Joining the search for answers." VOMIT. in a world where more people get their news from the Daily SHow than the NYTimes what do you expect (that was in no way a slight against teh daily show as entertianment its top notch satire, but its not news)

Hopefully it will help a little though

Who will be the Driver of this story? dennis_obell July 13 2006, 17:10:40 UTC
The only way I've kept up with this story is the coverage it's received on one of my favorite NPR shows, On the Media, which I listen to every weekend via podcast (I get it through iTunes to my iPod, but it's also on the web).

It most definitely will make things worse. As the On The Media piece points out, is the J. Lo story repeats the official version that it's a bunch of serial killing bus drivers, which has long been disproved as a BS cover story.

So people will not walk away from the movie demanding action, but walk away thinking this is an issue which is over.

Thanx J. Lo, please shut up now.
