Intervention

Thankfully, I have access to my niece's account. I honestly didn't see this coming and I apologise greatly. I knew nothing of this, until a concerned friend of hers emailed me.

My name is Cassandra Orosco, and I'll be looking after Angela until she gets better. I apologise to everyone on her behalf. She is not well, but should be better in no time

...Was there something in particular to cause her to change so suddenly.

From what I believe, she hasn't been taking her medication for quite some time. I know she doesn't like taking them, but it helps to prevent psychosis, aids her depression...Of course she's had no one to monitor this either, because I thought she was more responsible than this.

It's gradual. She might start by feeling a little more depressed, or she might have slight paranoid episodes...and then it quickly gets worse from there.

Was there anything we can do to help her cope?

Currently? She'll probably want to be alone, but I honestly believe that that's the worst thing for her. I think that not bringing up things that might trigger her off, not isolating her...
