Hi I'm Sue, 27 from Raleigh NC currently staying with my parents in Wallkill, NY until December so I can finish my bachelor's degree in Psychology. My hubby is in Raleigh working while I am up here at school. This is my 7th post. On this day my mom and I head on a road trip to Raleigh so I can visit my hubby since I miss him lots!
Good Morning...It is too early to be awake
See...SOOOOO EARLY! But it's worth is since I am going to visit my hubby, I miss him TONS!
Good Morning All! I am awake...honest...oh what awesome bed head I have this morning...
Turn on the computer
I go and say good morning to my sister and good bye cause she is leaving for work
I take a pee break... you guys get to see my sister's decorating skills in her bathroom
pee time over I see if anything exciting happened on the internets while I was sleeping
I finish packing for the trip
I plug in my hair straightener so it can heat up
While it's heating up I pack up the computer
Straighten the hair
brusha brusha brusha...
Final check all ready to go
Good Morning Parents! Dad is eating his breakfast before work
Hi mom's car...nice to see you again...we are going to have a long trip together today...
The car is all packed time to hit the road!

Go through the new toll both for the NYS Thruway
Head South!! But not to NYC today today I have much more important places to go today...
time check as we start heading south
stop at McDonald's for breakfast
We finish breakfast and come out to see this in the parking lot...ummm...did someone lose a toilet?
What a nice welcome New Jersey!
We follow this truck being towed on the Jersey Turnpike...it just looks funny and I was getting silly so it was extra funny and some dramatics ensued about the truck coming to get us!
We stop at a rest area for a potty break...I had some reading material on the door
we get back in the car and get gas at the rest area before we get back on the road...Thank you New Jersey for making people have to pump my gas for me!
we cross the Deleware Memorial Bridge
We head through the toll plaza...thank you ezpass for making travel easy. So you see that silver car under the 3rd green arrow...
she cut us off when we were closer to her then we were in the previous photo She gave us the finger so mom and I gave it back in stereo...she deserved it.
We are entering into Deleware!
and then we enter maryland...this makes me super happy cause it means we are half way to my hubby
We see this truck and get crazy silly. Since that is my maiden name and my great grandmother worked in a bakery it made me and mom giggle...being super sleepy prolly didn't help
stop for a stretch our legs and get something to drink
I consult the map to see how far along we are in Maryland since I am getting super antsy and want to get to my hubby
drive through the Fort McHenrey Tunnel in Baltimore

Time check...at this point we had been on the road almost 6 hours
This is the first time EVER my mom has griven through NJ, MAryland, Deleware. Virginia and NC AND her first time EVER driving on 95 so I felt I needed to document it for her
YAY Virginia!!! The last state to go through before we cross into NC!!!!
So we were getting quite silly and punchy so when we saw a sign for Backlick road a fit of giggles came on pretty quick
Hmmm this is a common sight on 95...crawling traffic...see how fast we got to go!
we get bored of sitting in traffic so we stop and rest
I decide I want a bottle of water. I pushed the button for Rasberry... but that's not what came out of the machine...
We head back to the car, my mom has a smoke
We have some cookies and I open my water...Apparently Rasberry = Lemon in Vending Machine Land
We enter Richmond
