It's always unfortunate to misjudge people. I feel like it happens to me way too often. I am so beyond hurt right now that the people I spent most of my time with for four years don't even think to invite me to a party they're all at. Especially after I have a party a week earlier where they basically trash my house and break my fucking TOILETS. We ( Read more... )

Why thank you, Erik. You've never been anything but extremely sweet to me.

No one was individually invited and I feel like you're being completely irrational about this.
I can see why you would be upset had you NOT already had plans but you did. This party was all over everyone's facebook as an open invite and you could of called anyone of us for directions.
But here lies my biggest problem. Yes, you knew everyone for 4 years and we all have a history together but you have your own group of friends, you always have. It's not like you hang out with us all the time, and honestly, when is the last time you spoke to half of those people there? You've been one to show up to big events in the past but that's about it, that's as far as your effort to be friends with us goes.
I understand why you're upset, and it was obviously not the intention of anyone to not invite you to the party. Your facebook status even said you would be in West Palm. I just think you're taking this a bit overboard and getting way to offended.

I did write this before I talked to you and I felt a bit better afterward, but then again you really don't get where I'm coming from at all. You understand why I'm upset but you think I'm getting too offended? I truly highly doubt that phone calls weren't made and everyone just showed up at the same location at the same time our of sheer coincidence ( ... )

Olivia, it hasn't felt like we've been friends since the end of 9th grade. We grew apart, we had completely different groups of friends and there were plenty of times we could of hung out but didn't. I will always consider you a friend, no matter what, but I really don't feel like there's a relationship there anymore, and there hasn't been for a while. In no way shape or form do I not consider you my friend, but honestly, when the hell was the last time you and I really hung out like we used to? It's been a long time.

However, that is not the reason I personally didn't call you. I actually thought about calling you on Tuesday to see what you were up to then remembered you have friends all across Florida and would probably be celebrating new years with them. Then, your status saying that you were going to West Palm confirmed my notions. I had no idea that it would upset you to not be called, and I am sorry for that.

I accept your apology and hope that maybe someday we can work back to where we were.
