Eight new flea bites last night. Definitely washing the feather bed.

And trying not to itch.

If after the feather bed is clean I'm still getting bit, I don't know what the hell to do.

No one else is getting bit, by the by, just me. Because Earth hates me.

Fleas are the worst!

Are your kitties on a topical monthly flea control product? Advantage or Frontline works the best and once that gets the population on the kitties under control you can work on attacking the house-fleas.

http://www.fleastoppers.com/product.shtml <--- That stuff works like a dream on carpet to kill the flea larve, which can live for upwards of 300 days after being deposited. I like that it's non toxic too :]

Hope you're bite free soon!

The fur babies don't usually go outside, so I assumed that Thatcher brought one in last time she escaped. The vet gave them a once over, declared them clean and gave them some pill that's supposed to kill everything on 'em, although she didn't think they had any at all. Of course, I'm still getting bit.
I thought maybe the fucker(s) were living in our feather bedding of some sort, so I'm in the process of cleaning all of that now. I will for totes try the fleastopper stuff, thanks for the link!
I have my eagle eye on the cats to see for itching, but so far they've been totally normal. Jerks.
