eh. hate to be the devil's advocate, but based on what the conversation says, the conclusion that there is no such thing as ultimate perfection, and therefore, no God, could be an answer. whether or not i'm right on this, i really don't care because i'm not an atheist, i just like to find holes in arguments.
But the atheist doesn't believe in God. So... Anselm doesn't really have an argument.
As for matter, the law of matter not being created applies to our physical universe, but God is beyond our limitied world and can pretty much break any laws of physics he chooses to. After all, he's not physical, so how can laws of physics apply to him?
Yeah, I believe in God, but even I have to admit that Anslem's argument is a little... erm, well... I don't really see an argument.
This is all too much for me to cope with at 8:24 am, so I have no comment. Just the hello. :P
