Due to Philomel's inspiration the other night, Panchito had stayed up unusually late in order to get some writing done. Tons of pages were scattered around his room, nothing complete. At least he'd given it a shot.

Philomel had been up rather late herself, intent on finishing her painting before she left. She wanted to present it to him as a parting gift. She arose--before Panchito, in fact--but took a long time in the bathroom, treating herself to the luxury of a bath.

When she heard him in the kitchen, she hurried to finish, drying and dressing and joining him there in a matter of minutes. "Good morning!" she greeted him brightly. "Have a productive night?"

Panchito looked up, water dripping off his feathers. He smiled, however, now wide awake. He shook his head, trying to get rid of some of it. "Buenos Dias." He replied, heading to the cabinets to make her a goodbye breakfast. He sghed, gathering ingridents.

"Alas...I couldn't decide where to start. Then the words did not fit the spice of the story! I have much work ahead of me if I want to truly convey the beauty of our adventures."

"Writing can be very difficult," she said. "I let the others do all the writing in our endeavors--I take down the words." She sat and ran her fingers through her hair, preparatory to putting it up. "I'm sure you'll be able to do your tales justice, though!"

A soft chuckle, as food flew over his shoulder and landing on the table."I have a whole lifetime to figure it out, after all." He reminded her, and then turned around to give a theatric bow. "A grand feast, to give Philomel a proper adios."
