As Ramza approached, the sky began to darken with thunderclouds, the air itself began to crackle with anticipation. The world itself was both excited and filled with trepidation at his coming. Everything seemed to hold it's breath.....
The end was nigh.

Then he suddenly raised his arms, and fired a shot from each gun right at his foe. There was going to be no mercy here.

"You're going to pay for that!" Panchito screamed, skidding to a halt.He turned around, and released an almost endless barrage of bullets.

"Oops, sorry," a female voice apologized. Death dimmed the lights a bit in her apartment. "I always forget how bright it can be when people transcend."
She walked over and placed a plate of cookies and a mug of coffee next to the visitor who was now materialized on her couch.
"Nice to finally meet one of you, I guess," the girl smiled. "I'm Death. ...But I suppose you knew that already."

Panchito quickly sat up straight, trying to be a gentleman. "Senorita Death!"he chirped, rather pleasantly. "So good to meet you face to face! You have even a prettier face close up!"
...Then it sunk in, and curiosity made his head tilt."...Where am I?"

She sat down next to him. "Well, specifically, you're at my apartment. I tried to decorate it as nice as I could for you." She gestured around her. Adorning her apartment were tapestries of vibrant colors, a pinata hanging near the kitchen entryway, and a guitar leaning against the wall. "Dammit," she said. "I forgot to make the taquitos."
She touched him on the shoulder. "You can stay as long as you want."

...Things slowly had begun to click. Her odd name, her knowledge of his birth, the way other people on the comm had seemed angered or frightened of her. She was Death? Literal and true Death?
He looked back down at his hands, which no longer had splatters of blood. That's right...Ramza...Ramza cut me...because...I was trying to kill him...
Panchito paused, before looking right up at her again, somehow smiling again. "Gracias, senorita Death. You are far too kind."
