In a vacuum all photons travel at the same speed. They slow down when traveling through air or water or glass. Photons of different energies are slowed down at different rates. I'm totally stalking your journal, can you tell? I'd say Jeanette Winterson's Lighthousekeeping is definitely, definitely a good read. I haven't read Written on the Body yet (even though I have the book, lol), but do read Lighthousekeeping if you can.
JEANNETTE WINTERSON IS ALL anythingbutgrey's FAULT. She used a Winterson line ("I am desperately looking the other way so that love won't see me") in a H/Hr fic, haha. ;D Thanks for the rec darling!
