15th-18th Smithsonian Mall!
15th - Saturday
Got up at 7:30 am and went to Viena-Fairfax again. At the Smithsonian Mall we went to Congress and got tickets for the tour. While waiting we toured the Botanical Gardens for a few minutes (very pretty) before rushing back and going on the Congressional tour.

The 12th-14th!
Thursday-
At 5am I left Kaori at the airport along with Kenta and Erika before going to my parents' home in Georgetown and napped til' 10am when my mom gave me a sports massage. At 11:10 my dad took me to Riverside where I took my Japanese verbal exam.

It started innocently.
Thursday:
Table Tennis with Takeshi and his roommate then Kobe’s Bar and Grill where we shared food. Back at the REC I played volleyball with the Japanese until exhaustion before going to be bed, thinking what fun that night was.

I worked from 8-2 as usual and did my oral skit Business Spanish, but after that I went from the bank to home and back to Campus.

Today I threw aside the shackle of the JET application and mailed it to the Embassy! It HAS BEEN SENT!
*crosses fingers* Now it's the praying-for-an-interview stage. I've done all I can. -

All right here’s what happened:
Friday -
Satomi came to visit! I worked until 1 pm and got my JET Statement of Purpose into its final form. I went with Kaori to the REC at 3pm and we met Satomi there and we played Table Tennis. Kaori crushed me at first but the last game between the two of us ended 25-17 so I did a little better.

YOUNG WOMAN DROPS DEAD OF JOY
Newsflash:
A young woman of about 23 gave a shrill squeal and them promptly dropped dead today in the Modern Languages Lab, startling other students. Her body was found with a big grin still on her face. On the computer screen was the grade of her second biochemistry exam. Police are baffled...

Yesterday I got a lot of hw done at work, skipped class, and then went to my apartment where my room mate was sweet enough to offer me some of her okonomiyaki.
