So I found out when applying for a state job it could take weeks to MONTHS for a response. So I'm patiently waiting. In the meantime, I am applying for anything and everything I can find. Most of the jobs listed on craigslist are scams. I really hate weeding through the real ones. At this point, I've even turned in an application to a convenience

Try using indeed.com as your search engine for jobs. It worked fantastically for me and found stuff for me I never would have found, including the job I have now.

Yeah, I was on there just a moment ago. It's just the area, I think. If we were in Austin, I'd be working.
