My First Story

Well, I am attempting to enter into the world of slash-fic writers (well, actually any sort of fic writing). I found a prompt for a Victorian Era/Steampunk Kirk/Spock!Prime AU. It sounded pretty crazy and I loved it instantly

Sounds like a fascinating and intense story. You took on quite a challenge. 13K is a lot. How is it coming, or did it stall. Goodness knows, I don't like to think about how often that's happened to me. *g*

It has currently stalled, but I still intend to finish it. I want to get some more driving plot. It's a bit weak. I also went back and reread what I have so far and noticed parts of it really suck, but not all. So there is still hope.
For NaNoWriMo I'm working on a Harry Potter fanfic that has a much stronger plot so I thought it was a better choice to work on now. Thank you for your interest in my K/S though. I'll update you if/when I get anywhere with it if you would like. :)

Good luck with NaNo. I did it last year, and wrote up a storm, although that story has been stalled since the end of that month. I signed up again this year, because my writing has been in a slump, and I was hoping that would help motivate me. So far, no luck. I think I've only done about 3000 words so far.

I keep procrastinating for whatever reason. I hope you're having fun with your HP story. I'm twinsarein over there, too, if you want to be a writing buddy, or whatever it's called. Are you prettysemmy, or someone else - unless of course NaNo is a private experience for you. Don't worry about me being offended if that's the case. Good luck, either way.

This is my first NaNo ever and I would love being a writing buddy but I don't actually know how to add them yet. If you add me then do I just click confirm or something? I am prettysemmy on NaNo as well and I'm not actually too far yet on my story; just approx 5000. I have only written a couple days so far. I am having fun with it but writing stories is all pretty new for me so I'm still getting the hang of it. What are you working on?
Oh, and I liked your answer about your interests. Defiantly not too much information. I have been really hoping to meet some people on LJ and twitter who have similar interests since I don't really have anyone in RL.
