Okay, where to start, because I don't even know.

You had me at hello, literally.
The distance was short, his words echoed around the house; like ghosts, haunting his faults and his sins. The more intimate words were bitten back; the one on the ground admiring the sound of a dead horse’s last sigh.

You write beautifully, but I'm sure you already know that.
