ok i seriously hope i have just misplaced my phone because if not, it is, at the moment M.I.A.!!

hopefully no one snitched it out of my purse during WEF. And turned it off. Grrrr.

On the bright side, i saw the coolest accordeonist EVER, he's basically a God of some sort. And fire dancers. Ay ay ay!

fire dancers? like spinning flaming balls? aka poi? cuz one of them was my buddy Travis. apparently he was a hit with the crowd. well you know... according to him. heh. but he's not exactly modest.

At least you've never left your cell phone in a Washington D.C. airport and returned to California without it. The really amazing part of the story was that I actually got it BACK. With gourmet potato chips.

First off, I had my phone out of my bag because I was ironing out the details of my plan for getting the sixth Harry Potter book later that night. Because I tend to lose track of things, I left it on a chair at the terminal. I realized, in Sacramento, that it was gone. I'm in for it now, I thought with trepidition, for I have been on a two week family vacation and lo! my parents are on edge! I get to Borders unscathed and meet up with Katherine, who tells me the oddest thing: "These airport people called me on my cell from your cell since I was the last person you called. Here's their contact information." Oh happy day! My cell phone is safe and retrievable! So about a week later, I received a package with my trusty cell phone and five bags of Terra blue potato chips, presumably for packaging. And once again the universe smiles on the absent-minded optimist.
