The first (real) rain of the season, and I'm nearly done with my first stage of applications. This shit is draining, so the unexpected burst of rain was really quite nice. I decided that I absolutely hate promoting myself.

I hated promoting myself too. you get a lot of thoughts when you're filling out apps.

Cornell, Pomona, Vassar, Whitman, and USC.
Plus UCSB and Cal.

my mom did my apps, i just wrote the essay. she knows more about me that i do so it made sense

Oh dude I know the rain is AWESOME!!! I was awake and it came down all of a sudden... cloudburst in the middle of the night, I was sitting up drinking English breakfast tea and pondering the math homework which I ended up not doing anyway... and we have skylights in our house so the rain sounds so loud on them, it's really rad. My cat was sleeping on the couch, all warm and fuzzy - a cozy morning to be sure ( ... )

Oh, I'm DEFINITELY looking forward to Chanticleer/Ren Faire, no doubt. It never gets old.

I'm definitely feeling the stress...it's kind of crazy.
