So I was talking to my dear friend Mikey yesterday about California and each day it is becoming more realistic that I am moving across the country in EIGHT MONTHS. I am so scared. But it's what I've always dreamed, so I have to do it... right? When I go there in November I think it's going to hit me even more. I have to go to college and grow up.

i remember feeling like that. feeling like "what am i going to do with myself 14 hours away from miami?" i know you are going further. but the thing is, you never know what's going to happen. im NOT in new orleans, im not even out of state, and coming back for that one week between new orleans and deciding where to go to school... again, was depressing. even if your far away, you always have your friends and especially your family. ive learned they are always there and more than just over the phone and all of a sudden im back in that awkward place of being away and being sad but being happy that i am where i am and ive met new friends AND kept the most important old ones.
