I have been told that I am, apparently, allowed to keep a log of my experiences, which can then be remarked upon by watchers previously unknown to me. I can, if I so desire, choose to "screen" or "lock" these log entries so that only certain individuals or no one at all may read them.
What fool would wish to write his innermost thoughts down anywhere that can almost certainly be hacked into by anyone with enough skill and that is doubtlessly being closely monitored besides? I refer this to you, whomever you are, wherever you are, the ones who are acting as my jailers. The fact that I have marked this log entry "private" means nothing more than the fact that I am using it to communicate with you. My innermost thoughts will remain my own.
I would suggest that my fellow captives do the same, but it appears from my observations that many of them are taking no precautions regarding this. Is this foolishness, or a sign that they have given up the idea of resistance against you, their captors? Or are they, perhaps, simply keeping their more seditious thoughts to themselves properly, and using their logs as a smokescreen?
I doubt that you have not already considered that.
I have been told that we have been brought here to fight a war for you, against our wills, and that no one has managed to escape, save through death, though some have inexplicably disappeared. I have been told that the former Warden is no longer in residence, and that the
prisoners are now in control -- so long as they do not attempt to escape your prison camp, of course.
If this is how you run a detention facility, you shame yourselves.
I have been told that you are now reduced to raping other worlds for their fighters, leaving them unprotected so that you may defend your own world. Though I have difficulties believing this, it is obvious that, at the very least, you are outrageously exploiting the people you are holding here and taking advantage of their perceptions of reality.
This is an inefficient way to maintain a fighting force.
If nothing else, it appears that the communication devices provided work well as a method for contacting others who have been trapped here, if one does not mind that everyone and anyone can listen in on the conversation.
