I am now a full-time employee of Charles Schwab. I was a contractor for about 19 months. I work in their Transfer of Accounts department (which is as exciting as it sounds), but there are definite benefits (such as being able to process transfers while listening to books on tape for 8.5 hours). And, I actually make more than I did at Bank of America. More pay and none of the stress.
