Want me and Javi to come up and visit you during your recovery? I hear babies are the anti-cancer.

How long is the drive from Columbus I wonder? It can't be too bad.

So where exactly are the cancerous cells?

Pat, positive vibrations to you, Hope all of the offending cells are taken out.

It it stomach or intestinal? What was the symptom that got you to tell the doc something serious is going on? From what I hear catching it early is what you need to do, and it looks like you caught it early.

Yeah. It's intestinal. It wasn't one symptom, just that the treatment being used on the symptoms I had lead to a need for a further test to see what was going on. And, the further test surprisingly held these results. I don't think she expected to find cancer.

Thanks for the good vibrations!

Talk about your cloud/silver lining/cloud scenario. I don't even know what to say. I'm glad you/they caught it early and that you're getting treatment and that your prognosis is good. But I'm sorry you have to go through this at all. I'll be thinking good thoughts for the surgeons' successful expedition and excision, and a quick and as-painless-as-possible recovery for you.
