"It's beautiful, Lance. They both are." She murmured softly before leaning up to kiss him lightly, touched by both of her gifts.

Lance kissed her back, wrapping his arms securely around her to pull her body against his with a smile. "S' just a little somethin', ya know? No big deal."

Pressing closer to him, she tilted her head to the side. "I still love them." She smiled warmly at him. "Maybe I'll wear the dress on New Years?"

His eyes lit hopefully as he let one hand run up and down her back in an absent-minded caress. "Yeah? I'd like that...a lot."

Hahaha, is the movie supposed to be a hint?

More like a fond memory. Remember that time in Vegas with the KISS tribute band and that midget Elvis?

Anyway...you're welcome. Trust me, you'll appreciate having yer own practice sword when your training gets more intense. You're in the big leagues now, brother. Trust me, though, it can be a lotta fun.

I'd forgotten about that until you mentioned anything! God, I don't know how the hell I managed to do that though. Especially not since Elvis had a fondness for mooning people.

Man. Big leagues. When you say it like that it's pretty damn exciting.

Least when he wasn't tryin' to hit on that fake Paul Stanley's girlfriend. I don't remember much 'bout that night, but I definitely remember the crown that guy lost in the fistfight.

Maybe it's just me, 'cause I grew up with it, but there's no bigger prize for a soldier. To be chosen, to be worthy...there's no greater honor, man.
