I've always had a special attachment to words. I'm not exceptionally adept at using them in a verbal capacity, but when I'm writing or typing, I come back and there are words I didn't even know I knew lurking in the sentences. Nah, this is just proof that my routine should go "coffee then internet" rather than "internet, then coffee when I finish reading everything on the internet ever."

I actually switched it to private so I could edit around the specific mentions of the prompt.

Don't think of it as "distressed", think of it as "inspired." Writing is born from passion, and passion has to come from somewhere.

You do make excellent points. People who downplay the importance of words confuse me. Words can destroy people, heal people. How can they not know that?

Then again, I've always been an English student, too.
