The name given this model by its designer was 'Star Holes,' which sounded to me like a really unfortunate porn channel program. "Hullo, I'm Robin Leach, and welcome to STAR HOLES!" But I thought it was a really beautiful model, so that was my next origami project.

The dodecahedron and icosahedron are virtually the same base structure; the face count of one is the vertex count of the other, and they have the same number of edges. I get confused a lot as to whether something is said to be derived from one polyhedron or the other. But I've found that most of the models I find interesting are based on one of these. :)
