Another stellated polyhedron, made from Post-It notes... I've 'acquired' several different colors of post-its over the years, and it was thrilling to realize I finally had a use for them which realizes their full potential. (I'd been using them for notes!)

Each folded-up parallelogram is called a Sonobe unit, for reasons no one is entirely sure of

I am frequently astonished by how expensive Post-Its are, but they do come in a wide range of vibrant colors, and the paper is very workable. The sticky part can interfere with some models, but that can be rubbed off.

Now do it with a blowtorch and sheets of glass.

Tempting. I'd need a grant first. Or to work at a glass factory with lax security.
