Five intersecting tetrahedra. Of the models I found when diving into modular origami, this is the one which impressed and intimidated me the most. I waited until I'd built a few things before I tried it, and I was probably right to be cautious. That is just insanely beautiful, and there is something fantastic about the fact that it is fragile and made of paper.

It's very cool when you're struggling to insert each piece just so, and you reach the point where its symmetry starts to come together and it suddenly makes sense. n.n

All of the figures which you have shared here have been both beautiful and impressive. THIS is just jaw-dropping glorious as both an art object and as a demonstration of skill.

I stand in Awe.

I like tetrahedons. When I was a kid, I found a design for kites made of tetrahedral arrays, reputed to be from Alexander Graham Bell's experiments with flying machines. And like Box Kites, they are fascinating to see hovering against a blue sky.
