An origami rendering of a six-piece burr puzzle. My original intention was not to make a puzzle; I just wanted to model the overall shape, a stellated rhombic dodecahedron. I was beguiled by this polyhedron (I'd encountered it in a couple of Escher prints when I was a much younger monster), and experimented with various modules of my own design in
