iini, miini, maini, mou...I'm playing with words and trying to pronounce rightly. I'm still, even thought I am old bad ass Finn, having trouble with spelling some words. I use to have problems with s and r. I love to just articulate widely when I'm alone..."terrrrminaattori. perrrkele. hirrrvi. protestantti. ankkuri. maukas. luumu ( Read more... )

I found a brand new website I thought you may be interested. It is a Dyslexia Blog Community. I just joined it and wanted to spread the word. JumbledLetters.org
It would be nice to have a community where we could relate to one another and share experiences.

From the beginning:

- rightly = correctly
- even thought (which you use all the time) = eventhough (and there's no letter T after though either, when using just that word!)
- "having trouble spelling some words" (no with there in the sentence!)
- and no, you're not AT school, or AT Helsinki and no, it's not AT Friday. (in, in, on Friday)
- to evening = till the evening
- and things like time and money and great fun don't have an article in front of them, since they're entities (things that you cannot count..)
- you said "change" there, but you meant chance (like an opportunity)

Was going to correct the whole posting, but just couldn't really read it through.. With these tips you will correct many of the mistakes you make. Keep on rehearsing! You're such a sweetie ;)

from the beginning:

- even though. two words.
- AT school is perfectly ok.
- words like "time" and "money" can have articles just as well as any other word. ever heard of "once upon a time..." or "have the time to do something" etc? and by the way, there should be no comma before "since"
- "posting"? hey, this is not the army.
- "keep on rehearsing"? hmm, i'm sure she'll keep on REHEARSING with her band, for example, but PRACTICING english is another thing - something i would recommend to you.
