So if you need me, there you have it. I also cannot get into any AIM chats without invitation first. So if I don't drop by it is because I cannot. Not trying to be rude and antisocial! I am a jr. in the university and have a taxing job that demands my attention from time to time, but for the most part I'm pretty open. Saturdays are my off days and I do have some stuff like LARPing to do (I am a club officer... I have to be there) and may or may not disappear for a few hours then.

CHARACTER INFO
Character name: Kurosaki Ichigo
Fandom: Bleach
Point in canon taken from: Ch 317 - As he runs to get Orihime/fight Ulquiorra

Appearance:
Ichigo has orange (not red!) hair that spikes out everywhere. It's short as well. His eyes are chocolate brown in color. Normally Ichigo wears any sort of clothing that any regular human teenager would. Though usually it is tighter jeans and rather form-fitting shirts. Every now and then he'll layer them. His school attire consists of his gray uniform slacks and white blouse. Under it is a black undershirt. While in Shinigami form he wears the normal black over white. There is a red chain that goes across his chest from the right shoulder and wrapping under the left arm. It's used to attach his zanpukto. Now in bankai his coat changes to mimic that of Zangetsu's, red underneath. The Vaizard/Hollow mask is white with red markings on the left chin and above the left eye.

Personality:
Ichigo is quite colorful in the way he acts, yet very simple. He's very protective of those around him: family, friends, and those he considers a part of his circle. He said that he will defend his 'mountain' of people instead of worrying about the world. For his friends and family, he will do about anything and will fight to the death for them. He won’t give up until they are safe. Ichigo prides himself on being able to defend and protect those that he cares about the most. That’s why he took up the Shinigami powers in the first place. The first time it was to not only save Rukia and himself, but also his family. When training with Urahara, it was because he needed to go and save Rukia. If anything, Ichigo is a little selfless, though that, once again, only applies to his select few people. His “mountain” is Karakura, but his friends are something else to him entirely.

He doesn't care about authority either, when it comes down to it. Ichigo will listen, but if he disagrees he will do what he wants in the end. He doesn’t care about the little details. If something he believes needs to be done, he will go and do it himself. Ichigo would go even if no one was on his side. His stubbornness is something, as he will keep getting up and never gives up. It doesn’t matter if his enemy is stronger than him or not. He is not easily swayed by the opinions of others either. Ichigo doesn’t quite see things like other people do and his resolve is strong.

The only time he wavers is when dealing with his own hollow. It’s a hard thing for him to accept in the end because of his nature. The Hollow keeps stating over and over that Ichigo is rather naïve, that his killer instinct isn’t sharp enough. To the Hollow, Ichigo is weak because he refuses delve into that nature that is within him. Ichigo fights too much with his head, constantly thinking about the battle at hand, instead of just plain fighting. A lot of circumstances and reasons go into Ichigo as he battles, something that the hollow highly disapproves of and this causes a constant struggle.

His temper is quick and tends to think more with his fists than with his head. Usually Ichigo charges in without really thinking of a strategy. Little things could set his temper off and he will automatically express his own opinion as well as a few choice words.

He also has issues taking a life, enemy or not. There have been times where he could have killed someone and he chose to spare them, showing that he knows mercy and when to quit something pointless. This has happened various times within the series. Renji was the first person to witness this. Ichigo beat him (barely) but refuses to give the final blow. It was the same way with Grimmjow, the Espada that drove his fist through Rukia’s stomach. This could be due to the fact that they have human faces instead of the masks. It was definitely an issue in the early chapters when Ichigo found out that Hollows had once been human.

History:
(Really super speedy version GO!) Kurosaki Ichigo is a normal teen. He lives with his father, who owns a clinic, and his twin sisters. His mother died when he was still young, so it is just those three. However, ever since he could remember, Ichigo can see ghosts. His family knows this quite well. Though one night, the shinigami Rukia appears through his window and he learns that he can do more than just see ghosts. In an attempt to save his family from a Hollow, he takes/borrows Rukia's powers, becoming a shinigami for the first time. Because Rukia gave him her powers, he had to act in her stead for a good two months (which various events happen over the course of this time). Rukia should have recovered over time, but she wasn't and thus the reason behind her long stay in the human world.

Her 'brother' Byakuya and his vice-captain, Renji appear to take her back and, of course, Ichigo attempts to fight them on his own to keep her from going back. While he did all right with Renji but Byakuya nearly kills him. Ichigo, determined to bring her back from Soul Society (because she is to be executed) spends the next ten days with Urahara Kisuke, training. In this time he obtains his own Shinigami powers and his zanpukto, Zangetsu. After the ten days are up, Kisuke helps him (along with Chad, Ishida, Yourichi, and Orihime) sneak into Soul Society. Upon arriving there, Ichigo and his friends attempt to take on the gatekeeper at that gate. Ichigo does manage to defeat the guy and as the gate was being opened, Gin slices off the man’s arm and prevents the group from moving forward. Instead, they come across the Shiba family. Kukuaku trains them on how to focus their spirit power, of which Ichigo has an extremely hard time pulling this off, and quite literally puts them in a special cannon to fire them into Soul Society. As they hit the barrier, the group is dispersed all over Soul Society.

From there on, it is almost literally battle after battle and Ichigo's powers grow. He defeats Renji and Ikkaku (though with some difficulty) and his injuries are tended to by Hanatarou (that he tried to hold hostage and failed). While running along, he encounters and fights the terror that is Kenpachi. Even Ichigo is terrified of this man. It is in this instance that he first encounters his inner hollow while learning to put his trust in his blade. He does defeat the man, only to be rescued by Yourichi. She reveals her true form and Ichigo goes off after Rukia, yet again. He can sort of block against Byakuya’s attacks. However Yourichi catches up and says that she will have Ichigo in bankai within three days.

After that time, Ichigo crashes in JUST as Rukia is to be executed. He throws her at Renji and then tells them to run. Byakuya is his battle this time and he demonstrates that yes, he can go into bankai. Though when it appears that Ichigo is losing, his hollow shows up. This time, instead of it being in his soul, it seems like the hollow has taken over, a mask forming on his face. Ichigo retakes control and with one final attack, defeats Byakuya. However, even after saving Rukia and fighting off her brother that Aizen then shows his true colors. He takes what he wants from Rukia and disappears into Hueco Mundo with Gin and Tousen.

Once back in the human world, Ichigo begins struggling with his inner hollow. Only after his defeat at the hands of Grimmjow and the appearance of a man named Shinji does he seek help. He goes to the Vaizards, not to become one of them but to instead get a handle on this growing power within him. In a battle of his soul, he and his hollow fight it out. After nearly dying, Ichigo does indeed come out on top and starts to develop his 'vaizard' powers. Even then it's not enough when Ichigo fights Grimmjow again. He fails this time too. During his recovery is when Orihime slips off and he goes off to save her as well, this time against the wishes of Soul Society.

Off he goes to save her, Ishida and Chad coming with. The three pick up Nel and her two 'brothers.' Along the way Rukia and Renji join in. Once inside Las Noches, they go their separate ways, Nel with Ichigo. The teen goes on to fight an ex-espada and falls to Ulquiorra. Grimmjow comes in with Orihime and has her heal him only to fight. This time, after a bit of difficulty, Ichigo bests Grimmjow, only to save him from Nnoitorra. He's no match for the 5th rank espada, but Nel demonstrates that she is not just a little child. Kenpachi steps in to save them all, though Orihime gets nabbed once again. Once healed up again, Ichigo darts off to fight Ulquiorra. (Really summarized... If you need me to elaborate... I can... ;A;)
