I recieved an owl from home today. My mother had an emotional breakdown after having to deal with some rude and influential guests to the hotel. She didn't say it outright, but it's obvious that she wants me back home for a while to help run the hotel. I've told them that I can't leave because I'm a prefect

Well, I'm enjoying pre-mediwizard training. And being an Auror could be interesting. I wouldn't mind something a bit more creative, too.

Thank you, they're not as strict as some parents can be. It's just... well, they've always expected me to take over the hotel. It's been in the family for many generations. I don't think it's even occured to them that I might not want to spend my whole life there.
