I'm so pathetic. I've spend most of the past two days trying to study, but checking my cell phone every three minutes. All it does is blink that incessent, annoying green light, mocking me. I feel like I'm in the Great Gatsby staring at the pier. I live in hope that my boyfriend will call, but right about now, I'd take a ten minute conversation

Maybe you should join a club or something. Find a group of people to hang out with, so you get some human interaction. You'll go crazy otherwise and become a hermit in some remote part of the midwest, sending odd-sounding but other wise benign notes to random people.
