To all those with gmail accounts, their new personal homepage thing is awesome. There are so many feeds to choose from. I can get a Sacramento, a Boston, a nation, the BBC and Reutuers all to display at once, along with the weather and the stockmarket.

So I went to see Scott and Claire's band tonight. It's a gothic christian band, really good. It was at the hard rock, so the venue sucked, but they were awesome. When did churches start advertising on tv? Not that I have a huge moral or ethical problem, or any problem, actually with it, I just find it strange. Or is it just a California thing?

I'm so pathetic. I've spend most of the past two days trying to study, but checking my cell phone every three minutes. All it does is blink that incessent, annoying green light, mocking me. I have turned into such a sap. A few days ago, I watched Forest Gump and was sobbing at the end. I get all sentimental and teary-eyed watching prime time television. I just cried over a sweet tribute someone wrote on straight dope about their parents. I have become such a girl. I blame Laurel.

To stop my parents from nagging me and to get a ticket while I could still afford them, I've already made reservations for Christmastime.

I'll be going back east on the 19th and coming back on the 30th. I hope this doesn't screw up anything. Crosses fingers and prays.
