This is making me crazy
I can't make up my mind about this first person vs third person perspective thing. I've tried to carry on with first person and it kind of sucks, so twice now I've decided to redo the whole thing in third person. This story has definitely taken a left turn. Instead of a spell gone wonky we have an actual vampire attack. Fortunately it was a new vampire, and he was kind of stupid, and the main character's son thought on his feet and saved dear old mom. Last night I did some more writing on my story about the magic shop. I read over it this morning and it looks like good work, except I think the wine had gone to my head there toward the end because this one guy just pulled a crossbow out of nowhere. Yeah. So I got this Star Trek audio book read by ASH of the lovely voice and listened to part of it in the truck when I went to the store to get lime juice. And his voice is indeed lovely but I missed a lot of it because between the bad writing and the door sounds I couldn't stop giggling ( Read more... )
