hmmm....

You know, I think that's why Obama won. As wonderful as a lot of people found him, I have a feeling a lot of people voted for him against their own personal biases because they couldn't stomach voting for McCain.

Yes, I agree. At one point I offered that I felt McCain would have won if he'd taken as VP one of his Party's Presidential Race front-runners.

I was amazed to see him shake his head a bit, in non-agreement. Wow, I thought, the Anti-McCain was deeper than just gender or even Conservative standing.

That sounds like a very interesting gentleman and that you obviously gave him food for thought and he actually THOUGHT in flight! I hope he sends you those bird photos, too.
