I'm Birmingham bound in a few weeks. I'm also a bit freaked, because I'm leaving everything/everyone I know. My comfort zone will be 8 hours away and I'll really have to handle things on my own. It's really exciting, too, to get out and try new things and really throw myself into something I've always loved. This will also give me a chance to feel

Congrats on taking the leap and making a bold move. Hopefully it will be a very rewarding experience.

Food is awesome (it's probably my biggest indulgence/vice, unless you count working on cars) and superhot showers are also awesome (especially when you turn on the heater in the bathroom too and it becomes a sauna).

I need to start taking pictures again, and I really need to start drawing/painting/sculpting again. Seems like I've never got the time, energy or motivation anymore. :-(

Man, I miss HOT showers. My hot water only lasts about 10 minutes, and it's never really hot =(
