Apologies to my Livejournal buddies.

I'll be straight up about it: not going to be terribly active here as much as I do with the gallery sites or Twiblr. Here are the places to be if you intend to see me kicking about and squawking:

I'll admit, I usually don't bother with links with "tumblr" within, as they tend to be single images, no words, no credits or attribution, and with discussion thereon consisting of "$NAME liked this". It's as if they created a site to be less involving and verbose than Twitter.

Certainly, though, I'm surprised that even now, LJ doesn't offer an easy method of uploading and linking to an image. I'm set with my own site, very kindly provided by timberwuf, which I use despite the many good image hosting sites around, simply for the reliability - I know it won't go down, and I've got full control over what's there, so unless the link is intentionally temporary, you should find all my imagery from old LJ entries remaining valid. ^_ ( ... )

In a way, the reduced need for verbosity is a thing that I'm attracted to w.r.t. Tumblr (also Twitter, my requisite quip/joke/one-liner repository). Nearly no-holds-barred in terms of content, and the reaction to anything one posts (or shares) is immediate enough to be exciting. Cascades of Likes and Reblogs are like the barometer to a post's memetic pressure. Also, as a rule, I try to source everything I post, and suss out the origin if it was unattributed (helped with tools like Google Image Search ( ... )

No probs dude, life happens! And hey, I've been off the grapevine for a while. When is your artbook coming out? Did I miss the announcement, or is it still underway?

I had a disaster with the delivery of the prototype copies, leading to a near-2-month delay! (I was also a bit stupid to consider a long delay being worth the free replacement set being sent via USPS instead of express courier.)

Expect an official announcement sometime this weekend! I hope to catch a good time when everyone's up and on-line.
