I have a tip for you: when taking any sort of a landscape photograph, don't cut the picture in half with the horizon. Cut it into thirds. Either 1/3 sky or 1/3 ground. I think that you'll find that they have more definition to them.
Also, landscape shots are best done just after dawn. For proof, take a look at some of Ansel Adams' work. He was the master. The shadows add a lot of texture.

I appreciate your advice! I am nowhere near talented in photography. I just see something I love, and shoot. I loved the sky that night, so I was snap happy. I just wanted to remember that sky. I have a weird liking of weird angles and random things. Thanks for the words, though. I'll work on that.
