An awesome video on happiness, how it works and under what conditions, as unveiled through an experiment conducted at Harvard.

Ah! Someone has been watching the TED talks as well :)

It's also one of the ones at www.ted.com that I mentioned yesterday.

This is synchronous, as I I actually saw watched that particular one last night.

Other favorites have been David Deutsch on our place in the cosmos, Vilayanur Ramachandran on how brain damage reveals brain function and structure, and the one I posted the other day, Steven Pinker on the myth of violence.

Sweet. I'll take a look at the other ones.

It's research like this that inspires me and shows me that, maybe .. just maybe ... humanity has a chance.
