I´m having a good time being a hooligan. Luckily I don´t have class during any games.

I am wondering if using poetry from the XI, XII, XII, XIV centuries is really an appropriate way to see the evolution of a language. People don´t talk like that and never have. The first week was great: Vacation. I slept, went out to a few places with M.C., saw some movies (Clash of the Titans was stupid. I need to see the original again to see if it was just as stupid). Friday I turned in my last project for the semester. Done with year one.

There already has been research done...a bit...on relevance theory and humor...and Attardo is not impressed (he and Raskin are the gurus of the linguistic theory of humor).

I'm really not in the mood to do this.

Big deal here in Puebla, cuz that's when the battle happened between Zaragoza and Napolean when Mexico won (and then lost when the French returned sometime later and ruled Mexico for a few years...but the Mexicans don't seem to care about that part).
