Lollipop Lolitas and Disco Dollies

I'm sensing a change in fortune. It's coming soon if it's not already underway. I think I merely had a setback.
On Tuesday, I went to Essence of India with Shawn and mi madre and dined on a wonderful platter of butter chicken, and afterward I moseyed over to Vinyl Fever. I was only expecting to find Bobb Trimble's Harvest of Dreams because Kevin had ( Read more... )

How strange, I was going to post that last night but got distracted and did something else.

Heh, interessant!
He should be going to the doctor in a little bit. He said he doesn't feel the irritation in his eye anymore, which I'm guessing is a good sign.

A corneal infection about 8 years ago that I developed scared the heck out of me, and I've never worn contacts.... It was frightful, because even the ophthamalogist was worried there would be permanent damage to my vision. For 10 days I had to put massive doses of eyedrops in my left eye on an hourly basis, tapering off as the healing finally began. Luckily there was no vision loss although there is some scarring, and that is the outcome for most people, and chances are that will be the case for your brother as well. Contact lenses are the major cause of this problem, but most people just don't realize it. Eyeglasses never hurt anyone, you can even sleep with them on and all that gets ruined are the glasses... Hey I hope you're singing out loud in Alphistian around the house :-)

Yeah, that's similar to what we're doing for Ethan as well.
Sadly, I haven't had an opportunity to record anything this month! Everyone's been home (Ethan's out of school because of the eye infection, and my mother's on vacation all week) and I don't have access to this computer very often, especially since I've been really busy. I'm not sure if I'll get to take a crack at the theme song in time!
